Fiscal Gauge™ Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026
This Fiscal Gauge™ Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Wayfinder Business Solutions, LLC (“Wayfinder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Fiscal Gauge™ (“Fiscal Gauge,” the “Application,” or the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Fiscal Gauge. It supplements any general privacy policy that may apply to other Wayfinder websites, products, or services.
1. Information You Provide
When you use Fiscal Gauge, you may provide information including:
• Your Fiscal Gauge license key for activation and access.
• Business and financial information entered for analysis, such as cash balances, expected inflows, obligations, reserves, anticipated costs, decision amounts, timing assumptions, expected benefits, margins, and other information used to model a business decision.
• Information you provide when contacting Wayfinder for customer support.
When you purchase Fiscal Gauge through an authorized commerce provider, information associated with your purchase may also be processed by that provider. This may include your name, email address, transaction information, license information, and other information necessary to process and administer your purchase.
2. Financial Analysis Data
Fiscal Gauge is designed as a session-based decision-support application.
Wayfinder does not intentionally maintain a permanent customer database containing the business financial inputs, scenarios, or analyses you enter into Fiscal Gauge.
Your financial inputs are transmitted to the Fiscal Gauge application infrastructure as necessary to perform the requested calculations and return the resulting analysis to your browser.
Fiscal Gauge does not intentionally use browser Local Storage or Session Storage to permanently retain your business financial analysis.
Because Fiscal Gauge is session-based, you should save a copy of any Decision Report you wish to retain. Information entered during a session may not be recoverable after the session ends, the browser is closed, or application state is otherwise lost.
3. Authentication and Session Information
Fiscal Gauge uses authentication and session technologies to verify authorized access and maintain an active application session.
After successful license verification, Fiscal Gauge may use a secure session cookie to maintain authenticated access for a limited period.
The authentication cookie is intended to use security protections appropriate to the application, including restrictions designed to reduce access to the cookie through ordinary browser scripts and transmission over unsecured connections.
Authentication and session information is used to provide access, maintain application security, prevent unauthorized use, and support legitimate operation of Fiscal Gauge.
4. Purchase and License Information
Fiscal Gauge may use third-party commerce and licensing providers to process purchases, issue or verify license keys, and administer product access.
Wayfinder may receive or process information reasonably necessary to confirm whether a Fiscal Gauge license is valid and active.
Payment-card information is processed by the applicable payment provider. Wayfinder does not intend to directly collect or store complete payment-card numbers through Fiscal Gauge.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information associated with Fiscal Gauge to:
• Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Application.
• Verify licenses and authenticate authorized users.
• Process user-requested financial modeling and return analysis results.
• Generate user-requested Decision Reports.
• Provide customer and technical support.
• Diagnose errors, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and protect Fiscal Gauge and its users.
• Administer purchases, licensing, refunds, or access where applicable.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce applicable agreements.
• Improve Fiscal Gauge, provided that any use of customer information is consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
6. Decision Reports
Fiscal Gauge may generate a Decision Report containing financial inputs, assumptions, modeled results, and analysis associated with your session.
The Decision Report is generated at your request for you to retain.
You are responsible for safeguarding reports after they are downloaded, saved, transmitted, printed, or otherwise removed from the Fiscal Gauge application environment.
Wayfinder is not responsible for the privacy or security of copies you store on your own devices, cloud-storage services, email accounts, networks, or other systems outside Wayfinder's control.
7. Service Providers
Wayfinder may use third-party service providers to support Fiscal Gauge, including providers of web hosting, application infrastructure, security, payment processing, digital commerce, license verification, email, domain services, and related technology.
These providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services on Wayfinder's behalf or to provide services directly in connection with your purchase or use of Fiscal Gauge.
Third-party providers operate under their own applicable terms, privacy policies, security practices, and legal obligations.
Wayfinder does not authorize service providers to use Fiscal Gauge customer information for purposes unrelated to providing or supporting the applicable services, except as otherwise permitted or required by law or by the provider's direct relationship with you.
8. Technical Data and Logs
Like most internet-based applications, Fiscal Gauge and its infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and deliver the Service.
This information may include IP address, browser or device information, request timing, security events, error information, network information, and other technical metadata.
Infrastructure providers may maintain logs or metadata according to their own systems, security practices, retention schedules, and legal obligations.
Wayfinder does not represent that no technical logs or metadata exist merely because Fiscal Gauge does not intentionally maintain a permanent database of your financial analysis.
9. Cookies
Fiscal Gauge may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, and operation of the Application.
These technologies are used primarily to provide requested functionality and maintain authorized access.
Fiscal Gauge does not intentionally use its authentication cookie as an advertising-tracking mechanism.
10. Data Retention
Fiscal Gauge is designed so that business financial analysis is session-based rather than maintained by Wayfinder as a permanent customer analysis archive.
Certain information may nevertheless be retained where reasonably necessary for purposes such as purchase administration, license management, security, fraud prevention, customer support, legal compliance, dispute resolution, system integrity, or enforcement of applicable agreements.
Third-party providers may retain information according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.
11. Data Security
Wayfinder uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect Fiscal Gauge and information processed through it.
These measures may include encrypted network transmission, access controls, secure authentication technologies, server-side processing of proprietary application logic, and security services provided by infrastructure providers.
No method of internet transmission, electronic storage, or information-security control can guarantee absolute security. Wayfinder therefore cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost, or destroyed despite reasonable safeguards.
12. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect information under your control.
This includes safeguarding your Fiscal Gauge license key, securing devices and accounts used to access Fiscal Gauge, maintaining appropriate copies of Decision Reports you wish to retain, and avoiding submission of information that is unnecessary for the analysis you are performing.
Fiscal Gauge is intended for business decision-support. You should not intentionally enter highly sensitive personal information that is unnecessary to the business analysis.
13. Sharing and Disclosure

• When required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or lawful governmental request.
• When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Wayfinder, its users, or others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Wayfinder does not sell Fiscal Gauge customers' business financial analysis for monetary consideration.
14. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights concerning certain personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other information regarding processing.
Not every privacy right applies in every jurisdiction or to every category of information.
Wayfinder may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
